Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Purfence software ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download, install, or use the Software.

License Grant

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software for personal or business use on devices you own or control. This license does not grant you any rights to our trademarks, service marks, or logos.

Free Version

The free version of Purfence is provided at no cost and includes real-time malware protection, automatic updates, and quarantine management. You may use the free version for an unlimited period.

Premium Subscriptions

Purfence Premium is offered as a subscription service with the following terms:

  • Monthly: $4.99/month, billed monthly
  • Annual: $39.99/year, billed annually (save 33%)
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
  • You may cancel anytime; benefits continue until period end

Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on Premium subscriptions. If you're not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. After 30 days, refunds are prorated based on remaining subscription period. Free version users are not eligible for refunds (as it's free).

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works
  • Remove or obscure any copyright or proprietary notices
  • Use the Software for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to bypass or disable security features
  • Distribute or sell the Software without permission

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE.

Malware Protection

While Purfence is designed to protect against malware, no security solution is 100% effective. We cannot guarantee that the Software will detect or prevent all malware. You remain responsible for backing up your data and practicing safe computing habits.

Updates and Modifications

We may automatically update the Software to add features, fix bugs, or improve security. These updates are installed automatically to ensure you have the latest protection. You may disable automatic updates, but this may reduce protection effectiveness.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license and access to the Software at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, you must uninstall the Software and destroy all copies.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
